How can I sell my motorcycle?

The first way you can sell your motorcycle is through our auction platform. The second way is through our own purchasing department. Register your motorcycle first and describe it, using our registration tool. You will receive a valuation from our appraisers within two working days at the latest. This is only a recommended price and is not binding. You can then decide which steps to take: sell it through the auction or to Motomoxy.

Can I sell my motorcycle directly to you?

Yes, you can. If you want to sell your motorcycle directly to Motomoxy, you can indicate this when registering your motorcycle. We will send you a price proposal within two working days. You then have the choice to accept our proposal or to opt for an auction.

How do I register my motorcycle for sale?

You can easily register your motorcycle via our registration tool. We guide you step by step and make sure that you describe your motorcycle as completely as possible. After our valuation, if you wish, you can put your motorcycle on our platform. After approval by Motomoxy, interested buyers can then bid on your motorcycle.

How do I know how much my motorcycle is worth?

Our appraisers will help you with that. Based on the description of your motorcycle (make, model, year of manufacture, mileage, ...) in our registration tool, they will accurately estimate the value of your motorcycle. You decide whether to take their advice into account or not.

Who determines the value and asking price for my motorcycle?

Our experienced team of appraisers will give you an estimate of the value and the asking price for your motorcycle. They do this based on the description of your motorcycle in our registration tool. This is only guiding advice and you are under no obligation as a seller. You decide whether or not you agree with it.

How are the starting and reserve price for my motorcycle determined?

After you have registered and described your motorcycle via our registration tool, we will make an estimate of the value of your motorcycle and let you know at what starting price you should put it up for auction. This is non-binding advice. You also have the option to set a reserve price for your motorcycle. Once this is reached, your motorcycle will be awarded to the highest bidder. For bids below that reserve price, you, as the seller, decide whether you want to sell the motorcycle or not.

Do I have to pay a service fees to register my motorcycle?

No. You can currently register and describe your motorcycle on our platform for free.

How much is the auction fee?

Only if there is a successful sale of your motorcycle, you pay a fixed commission amount of 125 euros (excluding VAT). If your motorcycle is not sold, you do not pay anything.

Are there additional costs associated with the sale or auction of my motorcycle?

You only pay a fixed commission for a successful sale. Has your motorcycle remained unsold? Then you don't have to pay anything.

Can I change the description of my motorcycle afterwards?

This is not possible. Transparency and trust are our core values. Because changes to descriptions can potentially undermine bidders' confidence, we choose not to allow this.
